Sound Of Silence Retreats

“Be still, and know that I am God.”

— Psalm 46:10

THE JOURNEY

Rest, Recalibration, and Restoration

Participants step away from the noise, speed, and constant demands of ordinary life and enter a place shaped by creation, Scripture, shared meals, silence, solitude, stillness, confession, encouragement, and celebration.

The retreat does not promise to fix a person or manufacture a breakthrough. It creates room for what has been hidden beneath distraction to become visible, for false burdens and identities to be recognized, and for what is true to be received without being forced.

The movement is from managing toward receiving, from fragmentation toward increasing order, from self-definition toward identity received in Christ, and from striving toward abiding.

Nothing essential is added. Instead, familiar Christian truths are encountered within a way of life quiet enough for them to become personal again. The invitation remains simple: come and see, remain present, and attend to what God is already doing.

THE RETREAT

The Thirty-Six-Hour Rhythm

The rhythm is intentionally simple. Participants are not asked to master an agenda or manage what comes next. They are welcomed into a different pace and invited to remain present within what is given.

DAY ONE

Arrival and the Feast

Participants are welcomed and invited to settle in. A shared feast becomes the first rhythm of the experience—a place of provision, relationship, and truth. What is normally hidden begins, quietly, to surface.

DAY TWO

Silence, Solitude, and Stillness

Participants enter repeated periods of silence, solitude, and stillness, followed by shared reflection. Nothing new is added because nothing new is needed. The first session establishes the posture. Each following session deepens it.

DAY THREE

Communion and Break-Fast

The group gathers to participate in Communion. The bread is broken. The cup is shared. The fast is broken together. What has been seen must now be lived. The rhythms entered into here are not temporary—they are to be carried forward into daily life.

FOLLOW-UP

It Is a Life to Continue.

Warriors Rest encourages those who have participated in the Sound of Silence to remain engaged in ongoing fellowship.

This is not a program to return to.
It is a life to continue.

Periodic opportunities may be provided for alumni to gather again—strengthening relationships and reinforcing what has already been established.

The goal is not repetition of the event. It is continuation of the life.

THE INVITATION

Come and See.

The invitation remains simple: come and see, remain present, and attend to what God is already doing.
